The first home varsity football game is this Friday and we're bringing back Perfect Attendance Panthers!
Students with perfect attendance at the district official attendance time (10AM) for the entire week of each home varsity football game will receive FREE admission and be eligible to run through the tunnel before the game!

This Friday:
🐾Gates open at 6:00 PM, we recommend getting to the stadium early!
🐾Students will report to the entrance to the field closest to the field house and run the field at 6:25 PM.
🐾No parents allowed on track or field.
🐾Please pick up students at the same entrance after completion of tunnel run.

Campuses will check weekly attendance on Fridays before home varsity football games and provide a wristband to each student with perfect attendance for the week. This wristband will grant the student free entry to the game.

Students must have their wristband to enter the game, and to enter the field to run through the tunnel. No replacement wristbands will be provided in the event the wristband is lost. Free admission will only be granted to the student. Accompanying parents/guardians and others with the student will be required to purchase a ticket online. Today, APISD administrators, staff, and members of the Board of Trustees were joined by members of the Aransas Pass City Council and Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center to celebrate a $100,000 Education Grant from the Port of Corpus Christi to support a new Process Technology Dual-Enrollment Program at Aransas Pass High School in partnership with Del Mar College!

Aransas Pass High School has been awarded a $100,000 Education Grant from the Port of Corpus Christi to support the development and launch of our new Process Technology Dual-Enrollment Program in partnership with Del Mar College!

We are incredibly grateful to the Port of Corpus Christi for investing in educational opportunities that prepare our students for high-demand careers in our region. More to come as we celebrate this partnership!

The Kieberger campus conducted an EVACUATE drill today, August 17. All our students and staff did a great job, way to go Panthers!
During the EVACUATE drill, students and staff exit the building to a location. An EVACUATE drill is very similar to a fire drill.
Drills are for staff and students, and are educational opportunities to practice life safety skills. We encourage you to talk with your child about today’s EVACUATE drill.
What is the EVACUATE Action?
The EVACUATE Action is called when there is a need to move people from one location to another for safety reasons. EVACUATE may be on-site, or offsite, and may be resolved quickly, result in early-dismissal, or require organized reunification of students and parents/guardians at another location. During EVACUATE, all students and staff move in an orderly fashion to a safe area.
Examples of EVACUATE Conditions
The following are some examples of when a school or emergency dispatch might call for an EVACUATE Action:
Power outage
Fire
Gas leak
Bomb threat
Event at the school that results in the school being deemed a crime scene

Reminder: the track is closed to the public while we complete resurfacing! We're excited for this improvement for our students and community. Thank you again for your patience!

We're excited for an improvement project at our stadium!

Beginning Monday, June 15, the track will be closed until further notice as we complete track resurfacing.

We are proud to maintain our facilities to provide our students with safe, high-quality spaces where they can learn, compete, and grow. We appreciate our community’s patience and support while this work is underway. 💜💛

Accountability scores never tell the whole story of a school district, but progress is worth celebrating! This year, the district's accountability score increased by 7 points, earning a C rating.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work of our students and staff, and remain committed to providing support and opportunities for more growth still ahead.

Keeping our campuses secure requires consistent procedures for every visitor, every time. The exterior doors of our facilities remain locked during the school day, and all visitors must use the designated main entrance to request access.

If multiple people arrive together, each person must be individually verified before anyone in the group is granted access.

Please do not hold or open exterior doors for another visitor or allow anyone to enter behind you without being verified.

Even when our staff recognize a visitor, following the same access control procedures for everyone helps us maintain consistent security across our campuses.
