We are so thankful to welcome Mrs. Nipper back to our staff. Years ago, she taught many of our recent grads (then 2nd grade!) and they all have the fondest memories of the joy and delight of her classroom!
Hello Saint Abe saints!
Jo Nipper here. I am very grateful to the Lord, in his good grace, that he has once again grafted me into this little group of believers. I was introduced to classical education, in this same community, over 25 years ago. That introduction took my family across the world to Iraq, in pursuit of helping the fledgling church and classical school there. I attended Bethany in the early 90”s and graduated with a BA in Intercultural Children’s Missions (Pre-K to 2nd Ed. and Missional outreach) In 2015, we returned to Santa Cruz, for a year, and taught here at St. Abe’s. These last five years, I’ve led a little two room Classical school in Monterey; last Tuesday, I took on the commute from Pacific Grove and closed up that little school, believing God is calling me once again to St. Abrahams and into the First Grade!!! It’s always a joy to teach, I ENJOY teaching reading, doing projects and I am excited and, well, happy to come home!My newest hobby is trying to learn to play the guitar. If - I know you, I love you. And if I don’t - I’ll get to! Thank you! God is good!
