Fridays 9:30-11:50am The New Geneva Homeschool CO-OP is a Charlotte Mason inspired co-op. The facility houses a coffee/tea/snack area, a book store and a large library with internet access for its members and students. Among its huge inventory of books, periodicals, home-educatio

n materials and private conference areas, a unique primary source document section of rich American history dating from the 1600s through the 1800s is available on micro-fishe tapes. Throughout the year, various classes are offered to the community including, for the most part, art and music in addition to tutoring, special guest speakers and events. Also located in the facility is The New Geneva Christian Leadership Academy. This correspondence college encourages students to go beyond simple knowledge of their faith to the application of it in the real world. New Geneva offers degree programs and a seminary, and also dual enrollment for students who qualify. Are you interested in signing your child or children up for our fall semester?
We have classes for children ages 3-12. We will be learning about a variety of subjects like music, art, science, history, and theater.
Our semester will start September 11th and meet every Friday until November 13th, with a fall break October 9th and a field trip November 13th.
Classes start at 9:45am and will run to about 12:45pm.

We will have an open registration day on July 31st from 12pm-3pm.

Come hear the students of our sister program, the Appomattox Youth Chorale!

The American Civil War Museum is hosting a series of activities and programs as part of the regional celebration of the Commemoration of the Surrender & Freedom Day. Visitors can look forward to a fun-filled weekend of cannon firings, interactive sessions with living historians, and informative sessions about the lives of soldiers, civilians on the homefront, and enslaved and free African Americans during the Civil War.

We hope you will join us on April 11th and 12th at ACWM – Appomattox!
