At Little Lambs, there’s room for purposeful learning and plenty of room for imagination.

One moment it’s a princess

The next moment it’s a superhero

Five minutes later, we’re running a restaurant

And somehow everyone has a very important job!

Dramatic play may look like pure silliness—and sometimes it absolutely is—but there’s so much happening while children pretend.

They’re developing language.

Negotiating roles.

Practicing social skills.

Solving disagreements.

Building creativity.

And experimenting with the world they see around them.

Childcare should feel like somewhere your child belongs.

Children spend a big part of their day with us, so I’ve always wanted Little Lambs to feel less like an institution and more like an extension of home.

We gather around the table.

We eat together.

Talk together.

Laugh together.

And those simple everyday routines eventually become familiar, comforting parts of a child’s day.

Because I don’t want childcare to simply be somewhere children are dropped off.

I want them to walk through the door and know:

🌱 There’s a reason our classroom doesn’t look like a traditional playroom.

At Little Lambs, materials are intentionally displayed where children can see them, reach them and make choices independently.

Instead of digging through a giant toy box, children can see what’s available, choose what interests them, bring it to their workspace and return it when they’re finished.

It encourages:

👐 Concentration
🧠 Decision-making
🌱 Responsibility
✨ Care for their environment

Even the way a classroom is arranged can become part of the learning experience.

That’s the beauty of a thoughtfully prepared environment.
