☀️ Summer has come to an end, and the school year is in full swing! As we say goodbye to our summer school-age children, we have openings at Joyful Noise Children’s Center for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years.

At Joyful Noise, children have room to learn, play, explore, and grow in a caring, faith-based environment. We offer full-time and part-time care and are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

🎉 Happy 9-Year Anniversary, Ms. Andi! 🎉

For the past nine years, Ms. Andi has filled our kitchen with so many delicious meals and snacks that our children love! We are incredibly thankful for all the time, care, and hard work she puts into feeding everyone each day.

Ms. Andi is such an important part of the Joyful Noise family, and we feel very lucky to have her. Thank you for everything you do for our children and staff. Here’s to nine wonderful years! ❤️

🌸 21 years! 🌸

Today we're celebrating Emily and 21 years at Joyful Noise Children's Center.

Twenty-one years of hugs, bottles, and little smiles. A whole generation of kids has come through these doors in that time and Emily has been here for all of it.

💛 Bittersweet goodbyes! 💛

Today was Brynn’s last day with us before she heads off to UW–Stevens Point! 🎓💜

Brynn joined our team in February 2025, and over the last year and a half, she has been such an amazing part of our center. We are so thankful for all the love, care, and joy she has brought to our kiddos and our team!

While we’re definitely going to miss having her here, we are SO excited for her as she continues her journey in Early Childhood Education! 🥰📚 We know God has wonderful things ahead for her, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her.

Thankfully, this isn’t a forever goodbye, we’ll get to see her again over Christmas break! ❤️

Good luck at UW–Stevens Point, Brynn! We’re going to miss you! 🎓✨

☀️ What an AMAZING Summer Picnic! ☀️

We had such a wonderful time celebrating summer with our Joyful Noise families! 💛 We are so thankful for everyone who came out and helped make this year’s picnic so special.

There was SO much fun packed into one evening! 🎉 From our silent auction and raffle baskets to all of the activities for the kids, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Seeing our children, families, and staff laughing, playing, and spending time together is what makes events like this so special. We are incredibly grateful for all of our families and the wonderful community we have here at Joyful Noise Children’s Center. 💕

Thank you to everyone who joined us, participated in our raffles and silent auction, and helped make the evening such a success!

We already can’t wait to see what we can do NEXT YEAR! ☀️🎉💛

🌳🦔 A Special Morning for our Hedgehogs! 🦔🌳

Our Hedgehogs class got to head outside today and watch Arbor Care of the Fox Valley hard at work! They came out to safely remove some damaged branches from the impact of the recent storms. 🌿⛈️

The kids loved getting to watch the crew and equipment in action!

A BIG thank you to Arbor Care of the Fox Valley for helping keep our center and outdoor spaces safe! We appreciate you! 💚🌳

Yesterday our kiddos spent lots of time in the garden harvesting cucumbers for Monday's snack! They were so excited to see how big the veggies have grown!

Together we picked:
🥒 4 cucumbers
🍈 Plenty of ground cherries
🧅 1 onion
🌶️2 Banana Peppers

Some of the children even helped wash all of our fresh veggies before bringing them to Miss Andi in the kitchen!
The big kids added a beautiful large chive plant to the Owls chaos garden and a small zucchini plant to the big playground.
Owls class had so much fun watering all of the little plants that are beginning to sprout and watching the garden continue to grow.

One of today's biggest lessons was learning the proper way to harvest cucumbers. The older children discovered that by gently twisting the cucumber off the vine, they can protect the plant and help it continue producing more cucumbers.

We love giving our children hands-on opportunities to learn where food comes from, care for living things, and enjoy the fruits (and veggies!) of their hard work!

Yesterday we welcomed Nutritional Healing to Joyful Noise! We are so thankful to have current Joyful Noise parents, Kim and Brooke, spend the morning with our kiddos for their "Healthy Little Monsters" program. 💚💛❤️

The children enjoyed story time, fun movement activities, and learning all about making healthy choices. One of our favorite lessons was learning that there is no such thing as "good" or "bad" food! Instead, they learned about:

💚 Green Foods – foods we can enjoy every day
💛 Yellow Foods – foods that are a little harder for our bodies to digest and are best enjoyed a few times a week
❤️ Red Foods – foods that are special treats for special occasions

To wrap up the lesson, the children sorted different foods into green, yellow, and red baskets. It was such a fun, hands-on way to help them learn about balanced eating and healthy choices!
