🦊 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗩𝗟, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴!

We’re excited to welcome Stephen Granberg back to the FVL family! After previously serving as FVL’s principal from 2014–2019, Mr. Granberg is returning for the 2026–2027 school year as part of our Religion Department.

Mr. Granberg brings 40 years of experience in public ministry to his new call at FVL. He and his wife, Leslie, have three children—Kirsten, Kelly, and Daniel—and are excited to be back at FVL!

When he’s not at school, Mr. Granberg enjoys reading, fishing, working on home and yard projects, and studying apologetics. He also enjoys spending part of the summer up north in Wisconsin with family and friends and visiting his son, Daniel, who teaches in South Carolina.

After 40 years in public ministry, Mr. Granberg is excited for this new opportunity to serve students and share God’s Word at FVL.

🎨 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗩𝗟, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗸!

We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Siemek to the FVL family as an Art Instructor for the 2026–2027 school year!

A Shiocton, WI, native, Mrs. Siemek brings 6 years of experience teaching art as an educational assistant to FVL. She and her family—Joel, Alyssa (13), and Derek (11)—are excited to be part of the FVL community!

When she’s not teaching, you can usually find Mrs. Siemek enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, biking, scrapbooking, and spending time in her flower gardens. 🌸

Her advice to students? Mistakes are opportunities to learn. Failure isn’t the end—it can be the beginning of wisdom. Be grateful, keep going, and remember that success often comes from many small steps taken faithfully each day.

For Mrs. Siemek, some of the best parts of teaching are seeing students discover something new, watching their confidence grow, and seeing the excitement when they realize they can do something they didn’t think was possible.

She’s especially grateful for the opportunity to serve at FVL, where faith and learning go hand in hand, and to help students grow in their God-given talents while reminding them of Christ’s love.
