Hello Badger Families,
It is with great excitement that we share some wonderful news with all of you. Please join us in welcoming Arlene Hughes as the new Dean of Students at Badger Elementary!

Arlene brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our school, having dedicated 28 years to the Appleton Area School District. Throughout her career, she has taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades at both McKinley and Berry Elementary Schools.

Please join us in giving Arlene a warm Badger welcome! We're confident that her knowledge, leadership, and genuine care for others will have a positive impact on our students, staff, and families. We know you will enjoy getting to know Arlene and partnering with her as we continue to build on the incredible work happening at Badger.

Fresh vegetables from our Badger Garden are available in the Blessing Box and free for the taking! Stop by soon and grab some before they’re gone or spoil.

If you have already completed your student’s annual online registration and do not need assistance with any of the items above, there is no need to attend.

Online Registration Now Open for the 2026-27 School Year

While you're enjoying summer, now is a great time to take care of a few important back-to-school tasks.

Online registration is now open for all Appleton Area School District families. Completing registration early helps the district prepare for the upcoming school year by scheduling transportation, assigning teachers, and arranging any services students may need.

As part of the registration process, families can:

🍎 Register their student(s) for the 2026-27 school year
🍎 Complete the Meal Benefits Application
🍎 Pay school fees
🍎 Sign required annual documents
🍎Review important immunization information
