Member of the Week: Emma Reading
I'm from: Castle Rock, CO
Major/minor: B.A. in Global Studies (Human Security), B.M. in Flute Performance, Spanish minor
Career aspirations: I want to be a musicology professor.
Favorite thing I am involved in on campus: My favorite organization that I will still be involved in during my 5th year is the LU Wind Ensemble. I'm the head band librarian for this ensemble and have been involved in the Wind Ensemble Council, and I love being a part of the group in general.
What I am looking forward to most this year: I'm looking forward to living off campus in an apartment with one of my best friends. I'm also looking forward to having a little more free time in my schedule to do more volunteering in the Appleton community.

Career aspirations: To become a professor of Medieval art history or a curator of medieval manuscripts and other rare books.
Favorite thing I am involved in on campus: I love being involved in SLUG! It's a great way to practice environmental sustainability in my personal life and a great escape from the stress of school.
What I am looking forward to most this year: I'm looking forward to doing my senior experience in the winter. I'm really excited to do some really cool research and dive into a topic for a term!
