Lawrence University's Student Government Lawrence University Community Council is the student governing body at Lawrence.

The council has authority to legislate policies affecting non-curricular campus concerns. Students have representation on the council through 14 representatives elected by students within defined constituencies. Faculty members collectively select 3 representatives to serve as voting members of the council as well.

LUCC General Council and the campus community have initiated a referendum on the constitution to be voted on, in addition to another student-initiated referendum. Referenda ballots are a simple “Yes” or “No” response directly to the referendum document. Voting “Yes” will affirm your agreement with the proposed legislation. Voting “No” will affirm your disagreement with the proposed legislation. Get your votes in before February 23rd!
