We like to encourage and support our Veteran entrepreneurs! Due to the many skills we learn in the military, becoming an entrepreneur is a very easy next step (now, what an entrepreneur builds out will take blood, sweat, and tears quite often).

The Venture Center at Fox Valley Technical College hosted their inaugural "Fuel the Founders: Coffee & Conversations" and invited in Bryan, the CEO and Marketer from Fava Tea Company. He presented how their company is leveraging AI tools for greater success. It was an excellent presentation and our office - specifically our focus on innovation - will benefit from some of the nuggets he presented. We've been slowing learning how we can apply AI tools (though GovAI) to support our Veterans' claims to the VA!

The short Professional Development opportunity will take place again on March 4, 2027. It's open to anyone, with the focus on business owners, business students, entrepreneurs, dreamers, creators, etc.

I enjoyed the networking piece and learned the Veterans 1st of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc. just housed their FIRST Veteran. It's been fun watching them build out this Veteran-specific tiny home village in Brown County for the past few years ... and how we can now use their model to perhaps brainstorm some ideas for Outagamie County, too.
