It’s a battle of the breweries, but not for the best beer.
Instead, it’s a friendly competition to see who can collect the most pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee.

Today, the Priewe’s took the 225 pounds of pull tabs collected by Mount Olive Lutheran School classrooms over to Green Bay for the Ronald McDonald House Charities double price recycling collection event. They were half way through filling up a giant dumpster! Thank you so much students and all who contributed.
While we were there, WBAY channel 2 was interviewing families who have stayed at Ronald McDonald House, so they interviewed us with Josie. We might make an appearance on the 6pm and 10pm news.
This Mount Olive Minute is an update and invitation from Pastor Gawel to join us this Sunday!
On Sunday, May 31st, Mount Olive will give thanks to God for the teaching ministries of the following called workers: FVL teachers David Kolander and Rev. David Wenzel, who are both celebrating their 40th year in ministry; Mount Olive teachers, Kari Tiarks, who has served for 25 years; Mr. Brian Root, who is retiring after 45 years in the ministry; Holly Dannecker; Kurt Nielsen, and Ruth Pahmeier, who will be serving elsewhere next year.
Refreshments will be served in the Commons.
A brief program will be held in the gym from 9:15 to 10:15 am. A box for cards and gifts will be available in the gym vestibule.
