Pastor Brauer will share a message from 1 Kings 19:9-18 with the sermon theme: Sometimes God's answer is a whisper.

There's something that makes Christians different, particularly when it comes to the troubles we face in our lives. We have our doubts and worries as to if God will really be there for us through them. But God's gift of Jesus provides our hearts of faith with confidence of his presence that sometimes is in very quiet forms.

This weekend, we will also install our three new teachers at the 10 am service: Mrs. Jenny Hackbarth, Miss Abby Micheel, and Mr. Brian Friesenegger.

Last weekend we joyfully celebrated the ordination and installation of Pastor Brauer as Mount Olive's newest pastor!

Please continue to keep Pastor Brauer in your prayers as he begins his ministry and settles into his work here at Mount Olive.

Pastor Raasch is loving retirement. He’s really venturing outside the office and expanding his horizons in the parking lot. 😆

WELS Christian Aid and Relief has some disaster relief volunteer opportunities coming up on Saturday and Sunday. Since travel to the city of Menasha is restricted, it is important to sign up and register through their process, so that volunteers can be organized and dispatched in a safe and effective way. To volunteer, click their link in the post and you will likely need to sign up to make an profile account where you can then register for the volunteer events. They also have a link for donations to help victims of the disaster. Please continue to pray for all affected.

If you're looking for ways to help after the storm, this post from Pastor Dan Simms, director of WELS Christian Aid and Relief, has some of the best things the public can do in the meantime while first responders are on site.

For now, the city of Menasha is asking people not to travel there.

Once there, look in the upper right where you can sign up to make a profile; that will allow you to receive info when the clean effort starts.
