Our hearts are heavy tonight as we pray for the families, businesses, first responders, and entire communities impacted by this afternoon's devastating storms and tornado.
To those who are facing damaged homes, lost possessions, uncertainty, or heartbreak, please know that you are not alone. We are lifting you up in prayer and asking God to surround you with His peace, protection, and provision in the days ahead.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1
While storms can leave behind unimaginable destruction, they can also have a way of revealing the very best in God's people. We are praying that this difficult season would inspire hearts of compassion, hands ready to serve, and neighbors who care for one another with the love of Christ. May we be quick to offer help, extend grace, and remind those who are hurting that hope is never lost.
As a school community, we stand with everyone affected. We pray for safety for those still responding, strength for families beginning the difficult work of rebuilding, comfort for those grieving loss, and wisdom for community leaders making important decisions.
Lord, be near to Your people. Bring healing where there is hurt, peace where there is fear, and hope where there is uncertainty. Use each of us to be Your hands and feet in the days ahead.
