Our 4th Grade Science students have been learning how plants produce food and transport water throughout their structures. To see this process up close, students used food coloring in water to dye the veins of celery and observe how water travels upward from the ground. Afterward, they dissected the celery to take a closer look at the veins—making their learning hands-on and personal!
Awesome job, 4th grade! We love seeing you explore, investigate, and learn like scientists! 👏🧪

The “Big Knights” of 4th grade were excited to meet up with their “Little Knights” from 3K, while our 2nd grade “Big Knights” partnered with their “Little Knights” from 4K for their first gathering at the Kimberly Campus! Together, students enjoyed a special morning playing and then Mass as they kicked off another year of friendship and faith. 💙
The Big Knights and Little Knights tradition at Holy Spirit School is a wonderful way to connect students across grade levels, encouraging friendships, kindness, service, and learning throughout the school year. We love seeing these special relationships grow as our students learn and serve side by side.

Mrs. Marshall’s literature and language students had the privilege of welcoming author Leah Dobrinska to the classroom today! Leah shared her writing journey and creative process, and she offered tips for students to embrace their creativity and to keep writing! We are so grateful to Leah for taking the time to share her experience and inspire our young readers and writers! It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn from an author in our own school community! All of her collections are found on Amazon. These are just a few: The Mapleton Series, The Larkspur Library Mysteries, The Fall in Love Series and the River Foxes Football Series.

The “Big Knights” of 8th grade proudly introduced their “Little Knights” from Kindergarten during an all-school Mass. This beloved tradition at Holy Spirit School pairs 8th graders with the Kindergarten class, creating special friendships and opportunities for the students to learn, serve, and grow together throughout the school year.
