We are turning up the creativity at Sandy Slope for a whole week of dress-up days from Sept. 28th to Oct. 2nd.

Here is your official Dress Up Days lineup so you can plan ahead:
🎨 Monday (Sept. 28th): Color Day
Wear your absolute favorite color and brighten up our halls! 🌈
👖 Tuesday (Sept. 29th): Denim Day
Rock your favorite jeans, denim jackets, or overalls! 🤠
🎄 Wednesday (Sept. 30th): Holi-Day
Bring on the holiday cheer! Wear clothing celebrating your favorite holiday (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc.)! 🎃☘️
✨ Thursday (Oct. 1st): Dress Fancy
Time to shine! Put on your finest, fancy outfits today! 👗🤵

From the Library!
We are so excited to welcome children’s book illustrator, Anna Aronson, back to Sandy Slope THIS Thursday, September 24th! Mrs. Aronson visited all LMC classes last year, and students enjoyed meeting her and learning about the process of making a book. She will be sharing some of her books and her illustrating process at the family fun night next week! If families are interested, here are her available books. She will be happy to autograph any of her books that families bring to the event! There will also be a "book walk" of one of her stories to read through Thursday evening.

We want to send a massive shout-out to our amazing partners at Pizza Ranch for their incredible donation to our staff today! As teachers, we are so incredibly thankful for your generosity—you truly filled our bellies and fueled our day. 😋🍕

💛💚Today was also Packer / Sandy Slope Gear Day, so our school was packed with school spirit! Both our students and staff loved showing up in their favorite green, gold, and Sandy Slope gear. 💛🧡🩵

🎉 One Year of Memories! 🎉

We are sharing this post from our builders to look back on a truly special milestone. It has officially been one year since the ribbon cutting of our brand-new building!

While the modern design and fresh paint were exciting on day one, what makes this building truly special is how it has evolved over the last 12 months. Thanks to our amazing students, teachers, and staff, this beautiful space has officially become homey. It is now filled with colorful artwork, laughter, comforting routines, and a shared sense of community.

Thank you to everyone who helped build it, and to everyone who continues to make it a warm, welcoming home for learning every single day! ❤️
