☀️Summer school is packed with action! Check out what our students have been up to this week:

🍓 Tasty Travels: Dipping sweet chocolate-covered strawberries and pretzels.
🎨 Art Class: Creating beautiful, vibrant stained glass art pieces.
🫧 STEM: Engineering custom bubble wands to blow bubbles.
🗣️ Hola Amigos!: Learning new color words in Spanish.
🏃 Gym: Running fast and staying active with Texas Tag.
🪄 Magic: The Gathering: Mastering tactics and strategy with this popular card game.
✨ 1st Grade: Enjoying sunshine, fresh air, and fun at recess.
🎒 Kindergarten: Practicing our alphabet and learning letters and sounds.
🔢 Math: Playing fun learning games to practice mathematical concepts.

We are looking forward to three more weeks of learning and fun!

Reminder: There is no school on Friday, June 19th.

A massive THANK YOU to these dedicated students for keeping our hallways, crosswalks, and drop-off lines safe and running smoothly this year! Rain, snow, or shine, these rockstars always showed up with big smiles and helping hands. We are incredibly proud of your leadership, responsibility, and awesome school spirit! 🌟👏

🎉 CELEBRATING OUR HEROES: Hard work pays off! This year, our patrollers were celebrated with an awesome holiday gathering featuring high-stakes festive bingo and delicious cookie decorating, plus an epic trip to Green Bay! They had an absolute blast splashing around at the Tundra Lodge and hanging out at Titletown! 💦🏈

No School: Friday, June 19
Daily Hours: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Supervision begins at 8:20 AM)

🎉 Wow, what an absolute BLAST! 🎉

A massive, high-five shoutout 🙌 to Mr. Heurkens and the entire dream team who helped put Field Day together! Tuesday was an absolute core memory day, and we couldn't have asked for better weather, bigger smiles, or more energy! ☀️🏆

The kids had the best time splashing through the water games 💦, testing their strength in tug of war 🤝, and jumping all day in the bounce houses 🏰!

It was so wonderful to pause in the middle of the day to gather for our family picnic! 🧺🥪 Thank you to all the families who joined us on the lawn or blacktop to eat, laugh, and celebrate together.

An extra sweet thank you goes out to our amazing Sandy Slope Elementary PTO for keeping everyone cool and energized with the delicious popsicles! In addition to funding our inflatables!🍧❤️ They are the absolute best!

Summer School is going Green! As we wrap up our first year, please consider donating any extra supplies you may have from the school year.
