🐾 Southview’s 5th Annual Fun Run🐾

🗓️ When: Friday, October 2nd, 2026 at Southview
• 8:15 - 9:15 - Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st grade
• 9:35 - 10:35 - 2nd grade and 5th grade
• 12:00 - 1:00 - 3rd grade and 4th grade

🐾 How can you help:

• Come cheer them on the day of the event. Everyone is welcome!

🐾 What does fundraising look like? The Fun Run is the biggest PTO fundraiser we have for Southview. Students will ask family and friends to donate money either through 99 pledges or cash on behalf of the student. The students have several goals they are trying to meet throughout the 2 week fundraiser. Every student will receive a t-shirt the day of the run. Added bonus, these t-shirts will be used throughout the year for field trips and other school events.

🐾 Where does the money go? The money will go into the PTO account which is used throughout the year for things like field trips, technology, classroom parties, school supplies, bingo night, extra recess equipment, staff appreciation, scholarships, the carnival, and much more. New this year, we will be using some of the funds to purchase solo spinners that will be added to the small and large playground!

It’s the beginning of a brand-new school year, which means we need YOUR help to stock our Staff Wellness Cart which will be used to help give the staff a pick-me-up throughout the school year! 🐺💙

Our amazing teachers and staff give so much to our students each and every day, and this is a small way we can show them how much we appreciate all they do! 💙
