Today was the last day of our 4-week summer ECFE session. It's been fun having families in the building! And now we're looking toward fall. 🍂 Have you registered for the fall lottery yet? Next Tuesday, 8/4, 11pm, is the deadline to be included in the lottery. What is this "lottery"? Each quarter (summer, fall, winter, spring), our class registration opens to District 196 families. Families are asked to designate a first and a second choice class. After 2-3 weeks of open registration, we run a computer-generated lottery which places everyone in one of their class choices. (We have a high demand for classes, so this is a way of trying to get as many families as possible into at least one class.) After we run the lottery, registration opens again and more families register or you can sign up for a second class. Two weeks before classes begin, registration opens for out-of-district families.
