Red Shed Supply is a supplier of educational products to educators. Many of our products come in kit form, these kits cover a wide spectrum of engineering and science specialties. Why "Red Shed?" When I was growing up my grandfather's homestead was just down the road. I loved hanging around his farm and looking at all the mechanical stuff that he kept in the shed. You are utterly amazing. I truly hope you know how much Cedar Park STEM appreciates the endless hours you put into making us these wind tunnels. You should sell them online!!! I bet schools would love to get their hands on one! The craftsmanship is off the charts and we feel so blessed by you! Thanks so much for your time and dedication to us, we can't thank you enough.

I was at Highland Elementary this morning 1st Grade, Mrs.Brandeen's classroom; also my grandson Oliver's room. It's always fun to speak when your grandkids are in the audience.

Friends of Red Shed Supply this video is worth your time. The video supports the "engineering" process and not begin afraid to fail. Instead except the "failer" and learn from it ~ I only wish that I could get every student to see it that way!!

Thank you Nancy for this wonderful post!!

I received the most amazing retirement gift. A handful of years back I responded to an email about a new science supply company called Red Shed Supply that was operated out of Apple Valley. I really wanted to support a local company, so I responded to the email. I never imagined meeting one of the most caring and inspiring people I know. Kevin Dahlke, who owns Red Shed Supply, has helped us get the best price on motors and batteries for our Jiggle Bot unit on magnetism and electricity. He has also come and talked about his marble runs to 100+ 4th graders every year. He motivates the students to think outside the box and use the engineering design process. His marble runs consist of recycled material and are intricately designed. He checks in with me throughout the year and his emails always seem to come on a day that I need a pick-me-up. Kevin truly appreciates the work of a teacher and I truly appreciate him. He hand made this jewelry box for me. I received it when I went out to lunch with my former and present 4th grade team. It was decided that the design represents a sunset to my career and a sunrise to my new chapter in life. Thank you, my friend, Kevin Dahlke!
