☀️ Splish, splash, and learn! 💦

There is nothing quite like a bright, sunny day at Apple Valley Child Care Center! Once a week, all summer long, our explorers take over over our water features, and the pure joy is contagious.

Water plaly isn't just fun, outdoor time has secret superpowers for early childhood development! Here is what is actually happening behind the scenes of all that splashing:

Brain Power & Sensory Exploration: Pouring, measuring, and splashing help little minds understand concepts like volume, physics, and cause-and-effect.

Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Squeezing sponges, scooping cups, and carrying buckets build up those essential muscles and hand-eye coordination.

Social-Emotional Growth: Sharing the water features teaches our kiddos how to communicate, cooperate, and take turns with their friends.

Healthy Minds & Bodies: Fresh air and natural sunlight boost moods, encourage physical activity, and sleep quality (every parent's favorite benefit! 😴).

At Apple Valley Child Care, we believe learning should be hands-on, messy, and incredibly fun.

✨ Want to see our happy environment in person?

We would love to show you around!
