Asalaamu Alaykum,

I hope this message finds you in good health. At Al-Ghazali Academy, we want to make an everlasting contribution to our Muslim community. We want our community to find success in Islamic studies and secular education. With that said, we are offering a free course to our young Muslims between the ages of 7 and 10 years on Wudu and prayers. We will cover the basic foundations of Wudu and prayers. Within 4 weeks, your child will be ready to pray (In Sha Allah). Remember, by the time this course ends, Ramadan will start (In Sha Allah) and your child will grasp all the basic foundations of Wudu and Prayers and start praying during Ramadan (In Sha Allah)

Parent(s), we need your help. This course will be a success for your child(children) with your support. Please attend this course with your child. Help them review the materials we have covered. Help them memorize small Surahs from the Quran. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING FOR THIS COURSE. WE WILL PROVIDE ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED.

The course will start on March 5th and end on March 27th. We will meet on Saturdays and Sundays from 5pm-6pm central time. The course is free.

What makes Al-Ghazali Academy’s after-school program unique?

At Al-Ghazali Academy, we believe that every student deserves equal opportunity when it comes to education. Building a strong foundation in the English language is vital for their success. We have developed the following steps to help our students (particularly the Somali and Muslim communities). These steps are vital to building a strong foundation so that our students will find success as they grow.

1- Our first step is to help our students improve their grades, participate in class discussions, be able to critique opposing opinions, and become strong leaders in our community. In addition, we will provide supplementary material that is engaging, fruitful and help our students understand who they are.

2- Our second step is to support parents in helping their child(children) succeed at home and at school. We will provide much-needed support to the parents like dealing with teachers, building better communication with their child(children), and more.

3- In our final step, we will open a communication channel with the parent's permission with our student’s teachers. We will make sure that every student that attends our after-school program’s educational needs are met. We will also communicate with the teachers to help our students improve their grades at school.
