I ensure the families in my care receive high quality, attentive care in a safe, secure environment. I understand how children learn & develop & the importance of attachment & knowing your child as an individual. Apple Tree offers a wide range of varied opportunities to enjoy new experiences. Your child's journey of exploration is enhanced by my provision of amazing, aesthetic materials & equipment & often authentic resources. Apple Tree knows & research proves that young children are born equipped to learn from the world around them through hands-on experiences & play. My approach is to be with & learn alongside children, focusing on relationships & individualized care. I meet children where they are & support their process of learning. I am passionate about helping children to achieve a high degree of independence & adaptability. The children in my care engage in many practical life skill activities. My intention is for children to become not only school ready but life ready!

Many little hands make light work! 👐❤️
Having toddlers help with chores is important for several reasons:

1. **Developing Skills**: Chores help young children develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
2. **Responsibility**: Chores instill a sense of responsibility and ownership.
3. **Self-Esteem**: Completing tasks boosts children's confidence and self-esteem. Imagine Maddie's pride as she not only helped fold all the towels and bibs, she also carried them to the kitchen and knew where they belonged.
4. **Bonding**: Chores promote bonding and teamwork in our childcare family.
5. **Routine Building**: Completing tasks helps establish routines and habits that will be beneficial as they grow.
6. **Understanding Contribution**: Children learn that everyone’s contribution is valuable and necessary for the household to function smoothly.

I had to laugh when I saw this because for me I would get excited and grab my phone for documentation. I just love to see the littles in my group when they have confidence and independence to do something all by themselves! 💗
