Sensory play is an experience that helps encourage children to use one or more of their senses to explore the world around them! The best ones also help teach us something new and help us build and strengthen our bodies 💪.

Our toddler friends worked on many skills while creating pictures with sand on Friday. They made the decision about what color sand by naming the color, using their fine motor strength to squeeze the sand bottles and to grasp the paper, they practiced being patient waiting for their turn, and last but not least they practiced following directions. We love when all that learning just feels like fun!

Smile! It's Friday! We love getting to spend all week with these amazing kids, but we all look forward to extra family time on the weekend.
