Some moments are special not because of how big they are, but because of the people who make them meaningful.

Our 123 Friends of The Way Community Center gathering was one of those moments. From cutting the ribbon to hearing inspiring voices and sharing the excitement of what lies ahead, the day was a reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared vision.

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, shared their thoughts, and helped make this milestone memorable. Every conversation, every connection, and every new idea adds to what we can build together. 💛

And this is just the beginning. Here’s a little look back at a day that means so much to us.

✨ WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY! ✨

Our Friends of The Way Brunch & Ribbon Cutting Celebration was truly one for the books! 🎉✂️ We were honored to celebrate this exciting new chapter for The Way Resource Center and our new community building with so many amazing community partners, supporters, friends, and leaders who showed up to celebrate with us.

From great food and meaningful conversations to sharing our vision for the future, this celebration was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together. 💜💛

This new building represents NEW BEGINNINGS, NEW OPPORTUNITIES, and an even greater commitment to serving our community. And we’re just getting started! 🚀

☀️ HEAT ADVISORY: Stay Safe & Know Your Rights! With high temperatures across California, employers have a responsibility to protect workers from heat-related illness. Workers should have access to water, shade, rest breaks, and a safe workplace. Stay hydrated, take breaks, and speak up if you feel unsafe. Your health and safety matter! 💧🧢

From advocating for informed workers to helping people understand their rights, we believe that knowledge, dignity, and opportunity are essential to building stronger communities.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the workers who show up, speak up, and help build our future.
