Took my boy to work with me today, and somewhere along the way he decided it was the perfect time for a nap. 😴😂 I couldn’t let that slide, so I gave him a little scare to wake him up. Safe to say he won’t be catching another nap around me anytime soon! 🤣

Proud moment for our family and the future of the trade. My grandson, Denver Mathews representing the fifth generation—is currently learning alongside his uncle Kenny, gaining hands-on experience in the art of butchery, including splitting a beef.

With a strong work ethic and passion for the craft, Denver is already setting his sights on the future. Over the next 4–5 years, he plans to continue developing his skills and ultimately take that knowledge out of state to start his own meat business. The Legacy continues!

We received a call this evening for an emergency beef harvest. We always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests because customer service is extremely important to us. Tonight, I even had to bring my little helper along to help get the job done.

For all your butchering needs, give us a call and we’ll make sure it gets taken care of.

Hey everyone! We put together a quick video breaking down the differences between grain-fed and grass-fed beef so you can see it for yourself.

My best friend Lee walks you through the key differences — from marbling and color to overall finish — and helps explain what sets them apart.

Have questions after watching? Send us a DM! We’re always happy to help you better understand what you’re putting on your table. 🥩🔥

On the table are two halves of beef — both fully processed into steaks, with the trim, bones, fat, and overall yield displayed.

One is grain-fed, and the other is grass-fed.

Take a close look at the color, marbling, fat content, and overall yield. Can you tell which is which?

Drop your guess in the comments ⬇️

We love educating our customers on the differences so you can make the best choice for your family and your freezer.
