Our amazing second grade teacher, Mrs. Wells, brings passion, positivity, and a love for learning into her classroom every day. She builds meaningful relationships with her students, inspires them to believe in themselves, and makes learning an experience they want to be part of. We are so proud to call her our Teacher of the Year! 🌟

Our wonderful Registrar, Mrs. Melanie Brown, is an essential part of the heart of Clay Springs. Today we’re celebrating one of the incredible people who helps make Clay Springs Elementary such a special place—our amazing ELL Paraprofessional, Mrs. Almeida! 💚🖤

Mrs. Almeida is so much more than a support person for our English Language Learners. She is a relationship builder, encourager, teammate, and advocate who brings warmth and positivity wherever she goes.

For our ELL students, having an adult who understands the importance of connection, encouragement, patience, and belonging makes such a difference. Mrs. Almeida helps create those connections every single day, and her impact reaches far beyond the students she directly supports.

We are incredibly lucky to have her on our Clay Springs Black Bear team! 🐻💚
