We’re excited to welcome Mr. Beck to The Organized Mind team! 🎉

Mr. Beck will be joining us as one of our substitute counselors this year. He is a junior at Appalachian State University and brings a positive attitude, great energy, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with kids. He’ll be stepping in to support our campers and staff whenever he’s needed, helping make sure every camp day runs smoothly.

If you see Mr. Beck around camp, be sure to give him a warm TOM welcome! We’re so happy to have him on the team and can’t wait for our campers to get to know him. 💙💛

☀️ What a fun week at The Organized Mind!

From engineering challenges and creative sketches to outdoor adventures, foosball tournaments, and discovering giant freshwater mussels, this week was full of curiosity, laughter, and teamwork. We love watching campers try new things, make new friends, and grow more confident every day.

Fall Track-Out Camp registration opens tomorrow, Monday, July 6!

We’re excited to share our upcoming fall camp weeks at The Organized Mind. Camps are designed for ages 9–14 and include full-day programming, daily field trips, hands-on activities, and plenty of structure, movement, and fun.

Spots are limited, and weeks may fill quickly once registration opens.

Another amazing week at The Organized Mind! ☀️💚

This week, campers explored the Scrap Exchange, where they transformed recycled materials into their own creative masterpieces. We hiked and splashed through the creek at Umstead Park, visited Yates Mill, cooled off with a pool day, and wrapped up the week with a trip to Howling Cow for some well earned ice cream. Back at camp, everyone designed and painted their own unique masks while continuing to build friendships, confidence, and creativity.

Thank you to all of our wonderful campers for making this another week full of adventure, laughter, and memories. We hope everyone has a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week for even more fun! 🌿💙

Another week of summer camp is in the books, and what a fun one it was. 💙

This week was full of balloon engineering challenges, water blaster battles, gem mining, tree climbing, volleyball games, nature walks, movie day laughs, Rosie snuggles, and so many moments of kids simply being kids.

One of my favorite parts of camp is watching friendships grow. Whether they’re cheering each other on, working together to solve a challenge, or just sitting on a blanket sharing snacks, those are the moments they’ll remember years from now.

Every Friday we gather for our group photo and add new signatures to our Summer Adventure Map. It’s becoming one of my favorite traditions, watching our banner fill with names and memories from each incredible week.

Thank you to our amazing campers and families for making The Organized Mind such a special place. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! ☀️💚
