Here are a few reasons why we hope to see you at Friday’s rally.

This may be the most FUN spirit night we've ever had! We hope to see you there!

Things you can do:
Participate in the March: Join the OCE PTA in downtown Raleigh on May 1st to demand better funding for public schools.

Support School Closures: Support local school board decisions to close, enabling teachers and staff to attend the rally. Year-round schools are still in session!

Take Local Action: If you cannot attend in Raleigh, participate in local "walk-ins" or protests, or sign and share petitions that ask for stronger public school investment.

Donate Supplies: Help support teachers traveling from your area by donating gas cards, water, or snacks.

Follow and Spread the Word: Follow the campaign on social media using and follow for updates.

Advocate against Vouchers: Contact state legislators to express concerns about private school vouchers, which the NCAE argues diminish funding for public schools.

Contact School Boards: Urge local school boards to support the campaign, which focuses on raising NC from the bottom in public school funding.
