Recognize anyone in this photo? Certainly you should recognize a much younger Instructor Sara and Master Rick. Anyone else? These kids were ages 6 to 12 circa 2003 so they would be age 24 to 30 now!! If any of these kids are you, tag yourself and let us know what you're up to these days.

Dear Hapkido Members and Families: We will have virtual Hapkido classes Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm during this strange break to keep us all in shape. We will use Instructor Sara's zoom account and she'll probably lead most classes as during the pandemic. This class will be appropriate for all students yellow belt and above and for all ages.
Class guidelines:- try to create a safe space with martial arts mats or other surface that is comfortable to stand on. Thick carpets work as well as yoga mats.- please turn on cameras so instructors can see you, this helps us teach as we can see what aspects we need to focus on depending on students are doing- wear comfortable clothing, uniform is optional - instructors will likely be wearing uniform pants and t-shirt- mute your microphone to avoid distractions to other students- attend as often as possible

Congratulations to Ella M., our latest Youth Black Belt! She should have tested in April of 2020, at which point she would have been our youngest black belt ever, but was delayed until last Friday due to COVID. She did a great job on her test last week and showed great maturity in her patience while waiting for her test to finally happen. Her mom, Instructor Sara, is quite proud! 😉
