Muslim Mindfulness is a long lost Islamic tradition. When we think of mindfulness we think oh Yoga or Buddha ... Brother Wadud is leading this effort.
Allhamdulillah I was his student last year.. taking this class has changed how I work, and live. I used to be living the future.. I always say “I’m busy” and then “rush”
To do thing fast!!! Kejar deadline...always...
And now... I’m still busy.. but I am aware and focused on being busy on things that matter, and I am present for the most important things and people in my life... Bahkan.... I have accomplished more things when I’m mindful and present ... not rushing... I now, based on Islamic tradition know how to manage my emotions and my nafs...
