Oriental Culture Dance 东方文化舞蹈

Chinese Calligraphy（中国书法） is a kung fu dance performance inspired by the spirit and rhythm of traditional Chinese calligraphy.
Presented on the UNC stage, this work integrates kung fu movement, long silk fan dance, and sword techniques, translating the energy of brush strokes into flowing, embodied motion. Strength and softness, stillness and movement echo one another—like ink spreading across paper.
Through the use of the fan and sword, the piece reflects the balance and inner rhythm shared by Chinese calligraphy, Tai Chi, and traditional martial arts.
