Today, our graduates turned in their computers and began lining up in their graduation ceremony rows. There was so much excitement in the air as the seniors realized, “We are almost there!”

As we prepare for this special celebration, please review the list of prohibited items for the graduation ceremony.

We cannot wait to see you and celebrate the Class of 2026 on Thursday!

AJHS is getting a new mural in the front office thanks to two of our awesome seniors Jacob Paine and Scott Imus. This is their National Honor Society service project!! We are so lucky to have such talented students at AJHS!

This past weekend our Prospector Track and Field team had 4 athletes qualify for the AIA State Track and Field Championships. Our student-athletes and coaches represented our community with pride bringing back state qualifiers to the meet for the first time in many years! Results are below:

Bailey Domroes Women's Javelin - 9th place **School Record 100'-08"
Jade Schuster Women's Javelin - 17th place 90'-01"
Adrian Russell Men's Triple Jump - 15th place 35'-08"
Adrian Russell Men's 300m Hurdles - 22nd 44.84secs
Tinsley Stickle Women's 100m Hurdles - 16th place **PR 17.66

The Arizona Diamondbacks honored former AJHS Coach Jeff Mason! Coach Mason led the 1976 and 1977 Prospectors to State Championship Baseball titles among many other accolades in his career as an educator

Hello Senior Students and Parent/Guardians,
Today Seniors in their 2nd period were given the Senior Commencement Class of 2026 letter. Students are to bring the letter home and go over the details with you. Once you have read the letter please sign it and have your student return it to their 2nd period teacher. Both parent/guardian and student need to sign it. These are due no later than Tuesday, May 5th. The information shared in the letter shares key details about graduation, the last 4 days of school schedule, Chromebook return process, cord distribution, graduation practice location, dates and times and fee payments.
Please make sure to check in with your senior to sign the letter.
