📢 ATTENTION STUDENTS📢
Central Arizona College has created a spring schedule with options for face-to-face classes, or hybrid classes with a face-to-face component. The College is committed to moving forward with some face-to-face instruction and hope to see this grow again as we eventually move out of the pandemic.
At present, however, because of the current high rate of transmission of the Omicron variant, and out of an abundance of caution, your class(es) may temporarily move to a virtual format for the first two weeks. Please check Blackboard and student email for messages from your instructors. They will provide direction on how their specific class(es) will be proceeding.
If a move is made to virtual for a class, the face-to-face portion of this class will meet in Blackboard Collaborate. It will meet at the same time, and on the same day(s) as advertised in the schedule.
If a class is temporarily moved to a virtual setting, instructors will communicate with students and confirm when classes will move back to live, face-to-face meetings. The goal is to resume live, face-to-face classes by Jan. 31, 2022.
The college will continue to monitor, assess, and communicate with respect to Covid-19, as it affects our community.
