A group of our students are participating in the volunteer program at Temecula Valley Hospital through the CTE Nursing class at our high school. They are very proud and excited to be part of this program!
The Temecula Valley Hospital Volunteer Foundation (TVHVF) is proud to launch an innovative new partnership bringing eleven exceptional students from Hamilton High School's Career Technical Education (CTE) Medical program to Temecula Valley Hospital! Every Monday, you'll spot our new purple-clad volunteers learning and supporting our healthcare teams across multiple hospital departments.
Thanks to the incredible work of the TVHVF, these second-year students have been carefully selected through a competitive process, showcasing their dedication through personal statements, resumes, and interview videos. They're prepared to assist with a wide range of critical healthcare tasks, including:
✅ Infection control procedures
✅ Pre-hospital emergency care
✅ Patient intake and vital sign monitoring
✅ Assisting with medical procedures
✅ Patient positioning and transfer support
✅ Documentation and communication skills
A special thanks to the Hemet Unified School District, which has invested significantly in this program by providing weekly transportation. TVHVF continues to make a difference, nurturing the next generation of healthcare heroes! 🏥💜
