Today’s Advanced Class was 🔥!

We started out with basic drills then quickly progressed to Motocross Riding on our private Motocross Tracks. Congratulations to MotoVentures Team Rider and Moto Since Birth owner Mike Perlof on completing the Big Bear Run Hard Way! 🙌🙌

The Hard Way is the most difficult option in the event, intended for experienced off-road riders. It is typically around 200 miles on Saturday (depending on the year’s course) and includes steep climbs, rock gardens, technical singletrack, and challenging descents. Riders who complete all required checkpoints earn a finisher’s plaque. Riders generally start around 6:00 a.m. and can spend 8–13 hours on the trail, depending on conditions and pace.

Congratulations to our friend Sylvia for her First Place finish at this year’s Biltwell 100! 🙌🙌

Sylvia rode her MotoVentures prepped GasGas EX250F past the competition and left them in the dust! Not bad for a knee dragger 🤣

The Biltwell 100 is a unique, 2- day, grassroots desert race held in the California Mojave Desert designed for non-racers and diverse motorcycles ranging from vintage bikes and Harley’s to modern and adventure bikes. Held in April, the event features a roughly 25 mile, challenging desert loop with classes, spanning from vintage iron to electric and adventure bikes. Focused on camaraderie good times and competitive, diverse, racing rather than just professional lap times.

Thanks to all who came out for the Gary LaPlante memorial trials at MotoVentures February 1st, 2026 🙌

I didn’t get many photos because I was busy riding and having fun! Great weather, great people and a great time riding trials together.

If you never ridden a trials event I highly recommend checking one out! Or helping by checking a section as one of our clients/friends decided to do. Even riding the loop is a blast!

Riding and Racing with the Family! 🙌

We got a great email update from our friends Brian and Nicolas over the holidays. Nicolas learned to ride at MotoVentures many years ago and now he’s riding and racing with his friends, so cool!!

They recently did a AMA Enduro race at Spangler Hills, and Nicolas has been riding with friends from his school. He even has been riding with a friend he met at MotoVentures! This is the community that we are building! Putting riders on bikes, sharing our love of motorcycles and getting new riders in to the sport is what our industry needs. Keep the fun alive! 🙌
