Our Ecology class today conducted a field study along the North Branch River, examining how environment, communities, populations, and organisms interact within a real New Hampshire ecosystem. Students observed firsthand how these ecological layers connect and shape the natural world around us. This course is intentionally rooted in New Hampshire ecology, giving learners a local lens to understand the complexity and beauty of our great state.

Invitation to Join in a Seder

Every year Hawthorne has celebrated a Seder together which has allowed us to see how this traditional Jewish celebration is rich in meaning pointing us to Jesus. This year, instead of having it at the school, we have been invited to join Valley Bible Chapel who are hosting a Seder led by a representative of Jews for Jesus. We would like to strongly encourage our families to participate. It will a wonderful learning opportunity for us all.

This is on a Monday evening, April 14th at 6:30 at Valley Bible Chapel, 14 West Main Street, Hillsboro.

There is no cost, but sign-up is required due to the need to have tables set up, and the proper amount of food provided. Please sign up by notifying Mrs. Berwick by text or email and letting her know the number of people in your family that will be attending (603) 933-3461, [email protected]

Please bear in mind that while we will enjoy some food and juice together this will not be a full meal.
