🌊 We discovered that ocean water is salty! 🧂 Our little artists dove into a hands-on science + art adventure as they created their own 3D ocean waves using glue, salt, and watercolors. 🎨

As the waves came to life, our campers explored creativity, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early science — discovering how different materials work together in amazing ways! 🌊✨

Ryan,

It has been a privilege to have you in Bible class for the past two years. During that time, I’ve watched you excel both in the classroom and on the court. Your role in helping lead the varsity basketball team to a state championship is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and commitment you’ve demonstrated throughout high school.

As you enter this next season of life, my prayer is that you would continue to pursue Christ with the same determination you’ve shown in athletics and academics. May God guide your steps, deepen your faith, and use your gifts for His glory wherever He leads you.

Poem
I first met you through basketball, and even after you stepped away from the game, I was lucky enough to still get to know you as a student. Whether it was on the court or in the classroom, you always carried yourself the same way; quiet, determined, hardworking, and never looking for attention. You didn’t let obstacles, opinions, or setbacks hold you back from continuing to grow into the person you’re becoming, and that’s something I’ve always respected about you.

You’ve always had a quiet strength about you. You may not have been the loudest person in the room, but your work ethic, resilience, and determination spoke for themselves. Watching you continue to push forward toward your goals and plans for the future has been inspiring, and I have no doubt you’re going to accomplish great things.

As you begin this next chapter, keep believing in yourself the same way your parents and the people around you believe in you. 6th-12th grade girls - join us for three exciting days of volleyball training, skill development, and competition! Camp runs from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM each day and is designed to help players improve through focused reps, drills, workouts, and game play.

Participants will receive instruction in serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense, and teamwork while enjoying a fun and competitive environment.

Cost: $80 per player
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily

Though you often carried yourself quietly, your steady presence and thoughtful attitude have been appreciated. It has been a privilege to watch you grow, and I hope you recognize the unique strengths and gifts God has given you.

I want to thank you for being apart of the first two years of Cornerstone Baseball. Your willingness to play any position – and by my records you played them all over the course of those two years – was a huge benefit to the team, and those will be tough shoes to fill…(enter a tie your shoes joke here!). I pray you take that willingness to do what ever needed to be done into your future. That’s the definition of a heart of a servant – putting others first, and is characterized by humility, love, and sacrifice. The ultimate example of that for us is Christ, and I pray that you reflect that for others for the rest of your life. And remember this – Jesus wore sandals, and modern versions of those don’t need to be tied. Good luck Uriah! You will be missed!

Soph-tastic! I enjoyed coming to volleyball practice each day knowing you were going to put in work, wanting to improve, and that you recognized the areas you needed improvement in. That’s a rare talent, and one you can use off the court as well. Life isn’t a straight line – it definitely has its ups and downs – but remember this: God is ALWAYS at work. Through the highs and lows, the twists and turns. Put your focus on Him, let Him direct your path, and you will not go wrong. I’m excited to see where your journey takes you and I have full confidence in the Lord’s ability to lead you through the hills and valleys. Keep Matthew 6:33 as your guide – “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness…” Good luck Soph! You’ll be missed!
