Kg Piano Studio is permanently closed because I expanded my studio and moved to 575 W IL Rte 173 (NE corner of 59 & 173 next to Chicago Red Hot's). You can still take piano lessons, along with lessons in nearly any other instrument you could want, here in Antioch at Rubato Music Studio - For the Love of Music!

I've been wanting to share about this for quite awhile now......but have held off in case anything didn't go as planned.

First, I'd like to thank all of my current student families for giving me the opportunity to teach their kids, and the adults who have trusted me to teach them as well. It's because of you that I have been successful up to this point and what has given me the courage to take this next step.

I'm excited to announce that, due to the success of Kg Piano Studio, I am opening a full service music studio in town! Rubato Music Studio - For the Love of Music!, located at 575 Rte 173 in Antioch, will tentativley open in late May-early June. I look forward to working with teachers of all instruments to bring a broader variety of music instruction back to Antioch and the surrounding communities.

In the coming days, I'll be testing out different virtual methods so I can continue lessons with current students. Look for communication regarding this exciting option! As terrible as this social distancing thing is, I'm grateful that we're blessed with technology that enables us to somewhat carry on with normal day to day things! Count your blessings each and every day!

I'm looking for someone to teach beginning piano lessons to children ages 5+ in my established studio. Must have previous experience teaching music or the ability to play the piano at a late intermediate or higher level along with a love for kids and teaching. Salary listed is the minimum you'll receive per half hour lesson, not hourly, and is negotiable.

The ANDANTE students used rhythm instruments to shake to the beat of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" today. We learned about rhythm in music and different types of notes. They did such a great job differentiating between quarter and half notes!

Final day of Summer Fun Music Camp! This week was so much fun. Lots of learning happened and new friends were made. I'm proud of these kids for their hard work on everything they did this week and look forward to the next session!
