Worried that your little one won’t sit still during piano lessons?
Kids are wiggly! And that’s totally okay!
The solution is you need a music teacher who is flexible and patient, and FUN! For these kinds of kids, I love to break up piano lessons into 2-3 minute activities, so that we are changing things up before they can get bored. I also find lots of fun ways to teach piano and music skills where we get away from the piano for a minute, it makes a world of difference if we let our kids stand up, jump around, clap their hands, and experience music in the ways they understand it best. ❤️

Learning piano should be fun, and instil a lifelong love of music.

I can’t describe how fun it was to watch the love of music bloom in this highly intelligent, curious, and excitable kid....

Hello hello!

My name is Britney, and I've been teaching piano lessons for over 15 years both out of my home and out of music schools/studios. I specialize in beginner to intermediate learners, and work great with kids and adults. I love tailoring lesson plans to meet the goals of the individual, whether you mostly want to play classical pieces or to be able to follow along and improv with the church band. We can mix and match all kinds of skills like sight reading, ear training, improvisation and songwriting, sheet music and chord charts. I'm really good at finding creative solutions to parts of music that might be tricky for some students, and I believe that learning music can and should be fun!

In my photos/reviews you'll see me at my grand piano. But I'm new to Nashville and not ready to move the piano just yet. Until I do, we'll be playing together on my studio quality piano keyboard. :)

Pricing for 30 minute lessons:
$20 for introductory lesson
$33 for each lesson when you book in packs of 3 or more
$40 for individual lessons

There's no better time than now to start!
