Did you know that sorting is one of the earliest building blocks for math and reading readiness? Today, our preschool learner practiced sorting — a hands-on activity packed with learning!

✨ Why Sorting & Patterning Matter:
• Helps children recognize patterns, which strengthens early math and pre-reading skills
• Builds understanding of how things are alike or different
• Supports skills like comparing, classifying, and organizing
• Strengthens critical thinking and problem-solving
• Boosts vocabulary as children describe colors, sizes, shapes, and categories

When students sort and create patterns, they’re learning how to make sense of their world — and laying the foundation for future skills like sequencing, counting, and early computation.
