8th Grade PARK Parents & Guardians: High School selection for 8th graders is approaching and it is important that families start to talk about options and where they want their student(s) to go. Photos are to provide some information to start the discussions and begin planning. Check your emails and parent squares for these as well. There will be an information to come next month at the High School Selection Nights. which will be located at the High Schools.

PARK SOCCER CONTINUES: Game 3 vs. Antioch Charter Academy happened this week. The Boys second game played was hard fought and resulted in a draw. The Girls team showed strength and continued their winning streak with a second win. Both teams continue to represent sportsmanship and the PARK Way.

September is Su***de Prevention Month. Sharing an upcoming community event from our partners at NAMI Contra Costa in recognition of Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.

6th Annual “Know the Signs, Remembering Those We’ve Lost”
Saturday, September 19 | 9:30 AM
Contra Loma Regional Park | 1200 Frederickson Lane, Antioch

This compassionate gathering will bring community members together to remember loved ones lost to su***de, raise awareness around youth su***de prevention, and promote healing through lived experiences, community speakers, a remembrance ceremony, healing activities, and connections to support resources.

PARK September 15th - October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month. There is an event this weekend and another following on November 1st. We wanted all to be aware of these events and the theme for this year 2026. The theme being: "TOGETHER, WE ARE MORE. UNIDOS, SOMOS MAS."
