Hosting over 70 events a year for our student-athletes takes a village and right now, we have nearly 500 volunteer spots to fill across Anthony and Harper! Without community volunteers, we can’t host our home events.

The best part? You can earn FREE admission all year long just by helping out! 🎟️✨

Our incredible USD 361 students are bringing the hit musical Bright Star (School Edition) to life on stage, with music, book, and story by Steve Martin and music, lyrics, and story by Edie Brickell! 📣 USD 361 Athletics Requirement Reminder

Attention Chaparral parents and student-athletes: All required documentation must be on file with Mrs. Hadsall prior to participating in the first official practice.

Required Checklist:

Physical Evaluation: Must be current for the active school year.

Concussion Informed Consent: Form signed by parent/guardian and student.

IMPACT Test: Must be completed/updated (valid for 2 years).

Fall sports practices officially kick off on Monday, August 17! Our student-athletes across Anthony and Harper are gearin' up to represent USD 361 with pride. Check out the schedule, make sure your paperwork is turned in, and let's make this season unforgettable! 💙🖤

📅 First Practice Schedule — Monday, August 17:
• HS & JH Football: 5:30 AM @ Chaparral 🏈
• HS Volleyball: 3:30 PM @ Chaparral 🏐
• JH Volleyball: 4:00 PM @ Anthony Elementary 🏐
• Girls Tennis: 4:00 PM @ Anthony Courts 🎾
• HS & JH Cross Country: 6:30 PM @ Anthony Lake Stage 🏃‍♂️

⚠️ IMPORTANT CLEARANCE REMINDER: Prior to stepping onto the court or field for practice, all student-athletes MUST have completed physicals and concussion forms on file in the office, as well as a current IMPACT (baseline concussion) test!

USD 361 KSHSAA Eligibility Notice: Resident Non-Enrolled Students

This notice applies to students who reside within USD 361 district boundaries (Anthony/Harper) but attend a home school, virtual school, or non-accredited private school. Parents/guardians wishing to have their student participate in KSHSAA-sanctioned activities at Chaparral must establish an account and submit eligibility materials through the KSHSAA portal.

📌 Key Guidelines:

Residency Requirement: Student must live within USD 361 boundaries.

High School: Applications must be submitted prior to the start of the specific sport season.

Junior High: Applications must be completed once per school year.

Application Status: Can be tracked directly through the KSHSAA portal once submitted.
