The Athenaeum After-School Program is off to a great start this school year! This month, scholars engaged in activities to help them acclimate to the program, teachers, and new friends. Scholars also celebrated friendship, the virtue of the month, with games and activities designed to foster connection and teamwork.
In September, scholars will explore Medieval Times with activities such as medieval games, tapestries, mythical creatures, and more!

🌺 Our favorite middle school tradition is back!

Join us for the Back-to-School Luau on Friday, August 14 from 3:45-6:00 PM. Students will enjoy an afternoon filled with games, music, food, water activities, a photo booth, face painting and live Hawaiian entertainment.

✅ Hawaiian-themed attire encouraged
✅ A great opportunity for students to build friendships and school spirit

A strong school day deserves an equally meaningful afternoon. The Athenaeum After-School Program at Great Hearts Anthem gives students a safe, joyful place to learn, play, build friendships, and continue growing after the final bell rings.

Great Hearts faculty enjoyed a well-deserved season of rest and rejuvenation this summer! Whether enjoying travel, time to tackle projects, the chance to catch up on hobbies, summer is their time to savor!

Mrs. Teresa Kruger is our 2nd-5th grade PE teacher. She and her husband recently returned from an incredible visit to Kauai. While there, they explored the shoreline, snorkeled and hiked!

And now we're all preparing to welcome our students back next week!
