New Friends of the Library - North Valley Regional Library - Anthem A 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to fundraise and enhance our community library.

A non-profit organization benefiting the patrons of the North Valley Regional Library. Four Ways You Can Be a Friend of the Library:
(1) Donate those books that have been piling up in your house
(2) Join the New Friends of the North Valley Regional Library in Anthem
(Annual membership is $10; Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month)
(3) Whenever you are in the library, check the

Friends Book Sale shelves for a great find at a great price! (4) Come to our giant book sales which are held 3 - 4 times a year. All funds raised are used to support the library through the sponsorship of special programs and services (i.e., children's story time, "take & make" kits, summer reading program, educational programs, equipment, etc.)

Dolly Parton believed every child deserved the chance to fall in love with a book.

Through her Imagination Library, she placed hundreds of millions of books into children’s hands and opened the door to imagination, learning, and a lifetime of reading.

Her voice was unforgettable but so was her generosity.

Today, everyone who believes in books, readers, and libraries mourns her loss. May her memory live on in every child who opens a book and discovers a bigger world.

Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you, too.

The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, not only a talented musician, but also a true titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library has received multiple Library of Congress Literacy Awards and, in 2018, Dolly visited us to donate the program’s 100 millionth book to our collection. She even hosted story time. 🦋❤️

Not Dolly!

The whole For Reading Addicts team is devastated.

This world has lost a precious person, we are all lost for words.

Beyond the imagination library, Dolly was such an integral part of my childhood memories. I am so incredibly sad today.

HAPPENING NOW! The seasonal used book sale. Open today until 4 pm. Open tomorrow (Sunday, May 3) from 9 am - 4 pm.

Do not forget the book sale this weekend! Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, from 9 am - 4 pm each day.

We have a great selection of hard back fiction and children's books!

We also received a few special donations of vintage collectible vinyl albums from the Time/Life Great Men of Music Series (1975 - 1979) and CDs of classic composers.
