A Closer Look at Learning at MRA
Social Studies at MRA helps students understand their place in the world, from their local community to the global community.
Through geography, history, culture, civics, and current events, students learn to appreciate different perspectives, make meaningful connections, and develop a deeper understanding of the people and places around them. As they grow, they move from exploring their immediate environment to examining the broader forces that shape our world.

What does Montessori education actually look like beyond the classroom materials?
At MRA, students learn how to work independently, move through challenges, contribute to a classroom community, and build confidence over time.
Those experiences begin in the Toddler classroom and continue through Middle School through hands-on learning, mixed-age classrooms, real responsibilities, and consistent teacher guidance.
As part of our new blog series, Montessori Moments, our first article explores 5 benefits of Montessori education and how students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through the Montessori experience.
