What an amazing kickoff to ECFE this week! 🎉 Children, parents and caregivers joined us for discovery, connection, and play. From circle time to free play, families had a blast exploring new activities and learning side-by-side. 💬🎨🧸 We’re off to a great start, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

This week marked the first week of nature preschool at Riverview Early Childhood Center! Take a look at all the fun and learning our students had in April’s class as they explored the outdoor classroom, made new friends, and picked fresh tomatoes from the garden. 🍅🍃📚

With the help of Texas Roadhouse C**n Rapids and Legacy Thrift Store, the Anoka-Hennepin Early Learning PTO was able to give each preschool and ECFE classroom a basket of supplies to start the year! 🍎✏️

Join us on September 22 for a FREE Pre-K to Grade 3 Online Parenting Session! We communicate every day, but sometimes communicating with our child can feel stressful or difficult. When we are mindful and intentional about our communication, talking with our children can be a simple, everyday way to deepen our relationship, and even improve listening skills. In this session, we will consider different ways to communicate, reflect on how we talk to our children, and what we talk about, and learn new ways to interact with our children.
