The LVC Valley Jazz Orchestra played a concert at Mt. Gretna as part of the International Play Music on the Porch Day! The weather was perfect, and so were the vibes. There was a great crowd, including many LVC students who came out to support. Great job Dr. Lovell, Dr. Morell, and all involved!

And we’re back! We snapped this picture at the end of our all music major meeting this morning. Did you know that LVC was the first institution in the state of Pennsylvania to be accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music way back back in 1941? We are thrilled to share that we were approved for renewal of our NASM accreditation and are excited for a fantastic school year of music making!🎵

Come join KEAP (Kodaly Educators Across Pennsylvania) and LVC for an amazing elementary general music workshop on Saturday, 10/17 from 9-12. The workshop is titled "Music Literacy as Play: Sparking Joy Through Creative Music Literacy Activities," and breakfast will be provided! Please see the attached for more information.
