🎗️ WILDCATS MAKING A DIFFERENCE! 🎗️

Last month, our Saks Elementary family came together to raise funds in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we were honored to give those funds to Marleigh from Alexandria Elementary and her family. ❤️

Marleigh took the proceeds raised and used them to give back to the Children’s of Alabama Pediatric Oncology Clinic. Because of everyone’s generosity, they were able provide food and gas gift cards to help families who are currently navigating cancer treatment.

This is what community is all about—schools supporting schools, families supporting families, and kids helping kids. 🐾❤️

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped us make a difference. We are so proud of our Wildcats and so thankful that we could play a small part in helping families during such a difficult time. 🩶🎗️🩶

🍎📚 Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🌎✨
Our teachers were treated to a special lunchbox and, best of all, a duty-free lunch! Because sometimes the greatest gift is simply getting to sit down, enjoy a meal, and eat it while it’s still warm!

Thank you to all our teachers for your patience, dedication, hard work, and the countless ways you make a difference in the lives of your students. You are truly appreciated! 🍎

🐾❤️ Happy National Custodians Day! ❤️🐾

We are so thankful for our three amazing custodians — Mrs. Teel, Mrs. Riley (we sure did miss you today), and Ms. Deborah! They truly go above and beyond every single day to keep Saks Elementary clean, welcoming, and looking its very best.

So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but their hard work makes a HUGE difference for our students and staff.🧹✨

Help us show these ladies some love today! We are so lucky to have them as part of our Wildcat family! 🐾

⚾️🐾 What a way to start the day at SES! 🐾⚾️

Today was our very first SURPRISE ATTENDANCE DAY! 🎉

What’s a Surprise Attendance Day? Throughout the year, we’ll randomly choose special days when students who are at school and ready to learn will get a fun surprise—maybe a special treat, activity, visitor, or experience! The best part? Students never know when it’s coming! 👀❤️

For our first one, we had some very special guests helping us kick off the morning—the Jax State Baseball players! ⚾️ They were here to greet our Wildcats and bring some extra excitement as students arrived for the day!

We are so thankful for our partnership with Jacksonville State University and for their willingness to help us make mornings at Saks Elementary fun, welcoming, and memorable for our students. ❤️🤍

You just never know what might be waiting for you when you show up at SES! 😉🐾

🐾❤️ Exciting news for our first graders! ❤️🐾

We were honored to be invited to the Grand Reopening of the Oxford Walmart, where Saks Elementary received a $500 grant to support our students! 🎉

These funds will be used to purchase Tonieboxes and Tonies for our first-grade classrooms to enhance listening centers and give students another fun, engaging way to build literacy skills. 📚🎧

We are so thankful to Walmart for investing in our Wildcats and supporting learning in our classrooms. Community partnerships like this help us continue creating meaningful learning experiences for our students!
