SUMMER 2026 REGISTRATION IS OPEN‼️

FREE COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION CLASSES TO BEGIN JUNE 16

Registration is now open until June 10 for a FREE 12-week training program to be held in Oxford in the fields of commercial carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and welding for adults looking to pursue a career in the respective commercial construction fields.

🧰These classes are open to any adult 18+ desiring to begin a career in commercial construction at NO COST thanks to a grant from the Alabama Construction Industry Craft Training Board - CICT.

🛠️Classes begin the June 16 and will be either M/W or Tue/Thu from 5:00pm-8:30pm. This is based on instructor availability.

🪛Classes will be held at CREATE;
1 Cliff Garrett Dr. Oxford, AL 36203.

🛠️You will receive a phone call to the number you provide on or before June 10 if you are accepted or wait listed.

🧰Each class is limited to 15 students.

A lot of laws get passed quietly while people are busy surviving life.

Working.
Paying bills.
Raising children.
Fighting depression.

And that’s why it’s important to pay attention.

Today Alabama passed HB1 and SB1 tied to redistricting and election maps.

Some people see just another bill.
Others see a warning sign.

Because history has shown us that when representation changes..resources shift, voices weaken, and communities already struggling often get pushed further into the background.

This is not about fear.
This is about awareness.

Too many people fought, marched, prayed, and died for us to become disconnected from what’s happening around us.

Please research these bills for yourself.
Read beyond social media.
Teach your children the importance of voting, history, and civic awareness.

An uninformed community is easier to control.
An educated community is harder to silence.

Look up:

• Voting Rights Act

Stay aware.
Stay educated.
Stay involved.
