Jax State Technology in Motion

JSU Technology in Motion It is a program of the Alabama State Department of Education and funded by the Alabama Legislature in the education budget.

Technology in Motion is Alabama's initiative to provide professional development for educators in the use and integration of technology in the classroom. The program is administered through the regional in-service centers across the state.

Thank you to Coach Crane and Dr. Lewis for having me speak to their Alabama History Institute attendees.

We explores the history of Sequoyah’s Cherokee Syllabary and the impact it had on native american culture and Alabama. Next, we tried our hand at writing code in braille and and looking at binary code language.

Our goal was bridging the connection between core content standards and the Digital Literacy and Computer Science standards.
