We are so proud of these ladies for their commitment to our students and continued learning!

What a perfect way to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! We are thrilled to announce that three more GSE educators have been awarded the National Board Scholarship: Ms. Bell-Garrett (3rd Grade), Sarah Brown (Math Interventionist), and Ms. Langley (2nd Grade)! They join last year’s recipients—Ms. Rhoden, Ms. Wright, and Ms. Jerome—bringing our total to six empowered teachers pursuing the gold standard of professional mastery.

Congratulations to this growing cohort for leading the way in instructional excellence and teacher leadership!

School may be winding down, but our third graders are cooking up something sweet in math! 🍪✨ As they explore fractions and partitioning a whole, students created colorful fraction strips and used them to “decorate” their hexagon cookies. There was a sprinkle of deep thinking, a dash of rich math discourse, and a whole lot of joy mixed in. Learning has never looked so delicious—this is math magic at its finest!
