🎤 **Meet Jean Ellison, M.A. – Vocal Coach & Music Educator** 🎶

Born in Bronx, New York, my passion for music has taken me on an incredible journey that has spanned more than two decades. I’m a CERTIFIED, classically trained soprano with a specialty in Vocal Coaching!

I earned my **Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in Voice** and my **Master’s Degree in Music** from Jacksonville State University. For the past **20 years**, I have dedicated my career to teaching private voice lessons and helping singers discover the full potential of their voices.

This is not just my job—**this is what I do.**

I specialize in:
🎵 Preparing students for college auditions
🎵 Coaching professional singers who are building or advancing their careers
🎵 Teaching music literacy and sight-reading skills
🎵 Helping students confidently navigate octavos and vocal scores
🎵 Building healthy, sustainable vocal technique through classical training

My teaching approach is unique because I blend **classical vocal technique** with music that students know, love, and connect with. This allows singers to develop strong fundamentals while growing as authentic artists.

Throughout my career, I have performed in more than 100 productions, including seven operas and numerous musicals, bringing real-world experience into every lesson I teach.

Every voice is different, and I pride myself on meeting students where they are while helping them achieve goals they never thought possible.
